MALAYSIAN company, AIROD announced a major project involving collaboration with BAR Aviation to maintain L100 aircraft in Uganda. This USD $1.5 million project marks the second collaboration between the two companies, highlighting a trusted partnership aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of L100 aircraft in East Africa region.

AIROD, a globally renowned Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) company, is set to bring its exceptional expertise to the forefront once again. The project will be executed by a dedicated team of 11 professionals, including two engineers, led by a highly skilled engineer. Spanning 180 days, the Global Line Services (GLS) team aims to set new standards in aviation maintenance services. The Global Line Services (GLS) team is a specialised unit within AIROD that provides field services for Hercules C-130/L100 aircraft worldwide. Their expertise includes aircraft field services and modifications, as well as operating systems to demonstrate equipment, analyse malfunctions, and offer technical consultancy. To date, the GLS team has delivered these services in numerous countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Jordan, Tunisia, Mali, Botswana, Ecuador, Afghanistan and Malaysia. Their extensive international experience underscores AIROD’s capability to deliver top-tier MRO services across diverse environments and conditions. AIROD is ready to deploy the GLS team anywhere in the world, with the dedicated team prepared to mobilise quickly and efficiently.
