ACV-15 ADNAN family of vehicles have been in service with the Malaysian Army starting from year 2002. Since then they constitute to be operated as the backbone of the Malaysian mechanised infantry. Hybrid operational requirements of today’s battlefield urge armoured fighting vehicles for a transformation to operate with in both symmetric and asymmetric combat situations. Based on 20 years of service and changing operational requirements, life extension and upgrade of ACV-15 ADNAN vehicles needs to be considered.
